I Can't Believe Today Is Here!!!

Kaiden Turns One (Whole) Year!!!!

So the day has come and gone, and my baby turned ONE!!! It was a bit of an emotional day, not too many tears, but certainly I did the "one year ago today at this exact time. . . ." fill in the blank with "my water broke" "you were born" "we moved into our room". It is SO amazing how much they change in 12 short months! I look back at those pictures of him minutes old and think - Wow you are amazing! We feel as blessed as ever that we have our sweet baby Kaiden, and we look forward to all the excitement and new milestones the next 12 months will bring! :o)

Birthday Fun!

So the first gift of the day was this beloved turtle balloon or "tu-tle" if you ask Kaiden. We met this guy a few days early while shopping at Kroger, and of course Grammy couldn't resist getting it for him!

"Hey those Bubbles aren't bad either!"

"Dad do you see them? They're Fun!"

And what would a 1st Birthday be without pictures of a wee one shoving sugary goodness in their face? Thankfully my child isn't crazy about getting too messy, so clean up was pretty easy!
