. . . Because My Angel Got His Wings!
Mom took off Friday, day 11, to stay home with me because Dave had to get some work done and technically I was supposed to have someone with me for the first two weeks. And she had just been given the set of angel wings as a gift from our good friend June who knows mom loves angels. She was talking about how cute they were going to look on her Christmas tree and I asked her if she had her camera with her because I had an idea what to do with them. . . . after some prep work with pillows and blankets we got a bunch of angelic pictures of Kaiden. We could not believe how good he was being, in total we probably took pictures for 25 minutes and Kaiden didn't cry once OR make a mess, what a good baby! It seems like he knew we were taking pictures and on his best behavior.
After his photo shoot we headed out for Kaiden's first trip. Which was a wake up call to the realities of how things change when there is a little one to pack for and load into the car. It was hilarious, it took almost an hour to make sure everything was loaded in the diaper bag and to make sure the car seat was strapped in and then of course to actually get out of the driveway! Two diaper changes, one wardrobe adjustment and a bottle of milk for the road and we were set to go! Amazingly he slept the entire time mom and I shopped.
All in all Week Two was a pretty great week!
